The secret behind AQUALEX water
Tap water is the most controlled food product in Belgium. Water companies ensure the distribution of safe and fresh water all the way to your home. AQUALEX takes it a step further, ensuring the best taste and texture of your still and sparkling water while preserving the natural ingredients of water.
NSF401 Certified Filter
AQUALEX filters are NSF401 certified. This means that our filters meet the highest standards to remove harmful substances from your water. It’s not just about the known pollutants like chlorine, lead, heavy metals, and microplastics, but also new threats such as pharmaceuticals, pesticides, and chemicals. These substances may be invisible, but our filters effectively remove them.
Triple Protection
-
Thanks to Agion technology, the filters have a bacteriostatic and bactericidal effect. The dead bacteria remain trapped in the filter and do not pass into the water you dispense (unlike UV technology).
-
The activated carbon in the filter blocks tastes and odors, such as chlorine.
-
Any contaminants from rust or dirt that could discolor your water are stopped by the precoat submicron technology. This membrane filters impurities down to 0.2 µm (micron) or 0.0002 mm from the water.
Filtration to 0.2 Micron
Our filtration systems eliminate 99.999% of all contaminants smaller than 0.2 microns with a bacteriological LOG5. This means the water is free from:
- Chlorine
- Microplastics
- Bacteria
- Unwanted odors and tastes
Our passion for innovation drives us to continuously search for new ways to improve the quality of our drinking water. With our latest filter, we have taken an important step toward a more sustainable future.
Proven Purity
Our filter has been tested for a wide range of substances, earning the following certifications:
- NSF 42: Drinking Water Treatment – Aesthetic: For a Softer Taste
Certifies products that improve taste and reduce odors and color without harmful health effects. - NSF 53: Drinking Water Treatment – Health: For a Healthier Body
Evaluates drinking water treatment systems on their ability to reduce specific contaminants such as lead, chlorine, odors, and taste to safe levels for consumption. - NSF 401: Emerging Drinking Water Contaminants (New): For a Safer Life
This standard focuses on systems that reduce emerging contaminants, such as microplastics, in drinking water.
