AQUALEX x Green Key: commit to sustainable business in tourism and leisure

Green Key is an international sustainability label for lodging, event venues, attractions and restaurants. Green Key is a global label represented on five continents and in 60 countries, from Belgium to South Africa. More than 3,600 venues have already achieved the label. It is a program of the Foundation For Environmental Education (FEE) and is coordinated in Flanders by GoodPlanet, with the support of Tourism Flanders. Green Key is the first quality label that highlights sustainable travel, meetings and relaxation. Green Key operators are fully committed to a sustainable world. Anyone who visits or books a Green Key location can count on the planet benefiting, without sacrificing comfort or affordability.

In early 2023, Flanders welcomed 24 new Green Key locations, In 2023, a total of 168 Flemish entrepreneurs will be proud bearers of the Green Key label.

AQUALEX included in the Green Key Catalog

The Green Key catalog provides an overview of sustainable products and services that match Green Key's sustainable vision and/or criteria. The catalog supports operators in selecting sustainable alternatives for (existing) products and services in different categories. The AQUALEX drinking water systems are a sustainable recommendation in terms of drinking water. Offering tap water, with or without extra carbonation, is 1 of the recommendations/criteria for achieving the Green Key Label.
