Belgium conceptual artist Kris Martin is recognised for his diverse practice that encompasses drawings, sculptures, photographs and installations. Consciously weaving art historical references, myth and literature into his practice, Martin often uses the readymade, re-contextualising utilitarian and ubiquitous objects to create new meaning.

Having worked with White Cube and Sean Kelly Gallery, Martin has been exhibited widely in a range of institutional solo exhibitions including the S.M.A.K, Ghent (2020); the Kunstmuseum Bonn, Germany (2012) and the Kunstsammlung, Düsseldorf (2013), among many others.
