Geert replaced his existing kitchen tap with an AQUALEX design tap
Geert Timmermans and his wife were not satisfied with their kitchen tap. They contacted AQUALEX for a new multifunctional designer tap. Such an installation in an existing kitchen can raise some questions, but Geert had every confidence in AQUALEX's professionalism. "We are very satisfied with the result," he says.

Geert and his wife live in Liedekerke. They discovered the concept of a tap with cooled, still and sparkling water at restaurants. "It's so easy to just have to press a button for still and sparkling water, instead of having to lug around bottles every day," says Geert. Hence we wanted to replace our existing tap and started looking for suppliers."
Geert came across AQUALEX online. " I was already planning to go for a company that specialises in drinking water systems but doesn't also deal with water softeners and so on. The website of AQUALEX immediately made a good impression; it looked very professional and clear. And the design of the taps immediately appealed to us as well," he says.
Personal contact
Geert contacted the company via the website and quickly received a call from a representative. "I think personal contact is very important when making such a big purchase. The fact that AQUALEX didn’t bother to call was decisive. We visited the concept store in Knokke, where we could have a look at the tap 'in real life'. There, we immediately fixed an appointment with a representative. Even after our order, communication went very smoothly."
A few weeks later, the time had finally come: an AQUALEX technician came over to install the new designer tap. In order to do so, he had to drill new holes in the kitchen worktop. Technician Steven: "I always determine together with the customer the exact position of the tap and any display, touch control and spray head first. Of course, I have the right equipment with me to adjust existing recesses or - as in this case - to drill an extra hole."
Geert was pretty confident: "I had every confidence in the technician; he clearly knew his stuff. He also worked very cleanly: after the job, he even vacuumed and mopped." “We attach great importance to these things. We do whatever it takes to leave the customer's kitchen clean," Steven says. "When the installation is complete, I double-check it, of course. I only leave when I'm sure there are no leaks and that the quality of the water is optimal. I always taste it myself - which means I drink a lot of water every day (laughs)."
And of course, before he leaves, Steven shares some information about the installation. "Because even though operating a tap like this isn't really rocket science, it's always a pleasure to get a brief explanation," Geert concludes.
