Real estate agency Alex Dewulf in Knokke-Heist pampering its clients

Real estate agency Alex Dewulf in Knokke-Heist strives to be much more than just another real estate agent. "A good estate agent is a trustworthy person, advisor, action taker, problem solver, fixer, mediator, pusher and opportunity seeker," explains manager Alex Dewulf. He and his wife An lead a team of 15 people, who are responsible for the management, sale and rental of properties, mainly holiday homes.

An previously worked for another real estate agency in Knokke-Heist, which she privatised in the early 2000s. In 2005, Alex joined her as business manager. 18 years and 15 employees later, they still deliberately choose to focus on Knokke-Heist. "We rather prefer to be very active in one area with a large team than to open multiple offices," Alex explains. "As a result, we know the market in Knokke inside out. It is our ambition to 'overserve' our clients. This allows us to build a real relationship based on trust, which is crucial in the luxury holiday accommodation market, with demanding clients. The bar is set high. And with good reason, because after all, they trust us with their property. We have the keys to more than 3,000 flats."

Besides their office on the Rubensplein, one of the busiest locations in the city and thus an excellent high-profile location for the sales team, Alex Dewulf also has a location on the Zeedijk, from where the management team works. " When we started, we occupied 1 of 6 shop premises here; in the meantime, we have grown so much that we now occupy 4 of them. Together, these account for 270 square metres." After a major renovation, the premises melted together into a spacious office with a spacious reception area in 2022. " Of course it is pleasant for our employees to work in such comfortable conditions. And we are now able to welcome clients in an oasis of calm, reminiscent of the lobby of a luxury hotel. If you want to serve the higher segment, your interior has to be top-notch," Alex explains with confidence.

Comfort and design

Lugging around bottled water is not an option for An and Alex. And they were not satisfied with the tap water faucets they had before the renovation. So they started looking for an alternative. "It was my childhood friend Nikolas Van Paemel, manager of the AQUALEX Concept Store in Knokke, who recommended me a lovely faucet from AQUALEX. We ended up with a Twin Touchpad offering still and sparkling water. An added value for the comfort of our employees. And the design was also important, because the faucet was given a place in the brand-new, luxuriously finished kitchen. AQUALEX's service is also excellent. The promptness with which we receive an answer to our questions is impressive," they conclude.
